Finally got to see Dune and this movie is an absolute visual spectacle. The backdrops and locations are simply mesmerizing in this flick. The movie over 2 and half hours long, my thought was, a bit too long and might be a slow paced movie. But it's a pretty well paced movie with hardly any dull moments.

Along with the visual effects the background score is also amazing and it stays with you even after the movie. The story is gripping and the performances by everyone are top class. Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson are the soul of this movie, I loved their performances. Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin have also done a fantastic job. Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa are perfect in their respective roles. Stellan Skarsgard as the villain is top notch. Zendaya doesn't have much to do in this one but she is good in her role. All other actors play their part to perfection.

Action in the movie is also very interesting and entertaining, something new. The gadgets and machines shown in the movie are awe inspiring. The visual effects are great, as good as they get. Direction of the movie is tight, the movie grips you till the end.

This movie has nicely set up the second movie, which might get released in a couple of years or maybe it will take a bit longer. Nonetheless viewers will be patiently waiting for the instalment.
