This movie is an official remake of the Tamil movie Jigarthanda which was released in 2014. Even though it's a remake, this looks pretty different from the original movie. This one has a lot more comical angle to it as compared to the Tamil movie. At least that's what it looks like in the trailer.
The cast itself is terrific Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi. Akshay Kumar has departed from his typical look, and looks dope in this one. Arshad Warsi as one would expect is a versatile actor, he can get to a character with ease, and this trailer just confirms it, Arshad looks wonderful in the trailer. Kriti Sanon has proven herself with multiple films, she looking good again in this one. But that's not all we also have Pankaj Tripathi who is an phenomenal actor and just makes his presence felt every time he appears on screen. In a small portion in the trailer he has almost stole the show.
The trailer itself is very stylized and has an over the top feel to it, which works well for the film. Akshay Kumar's look in the movie is so good and only with the trailer he has created a different vibe for his character. Other than that we also have some more actors who are just perfect in whatever roles they do just like Sanjay Mishra, he is a great actor and in the trailer also, he leaves his mark.
The action looks pretty good and dialogues are very cool too. The comedy in the trailer works very well, of course with such amazing actors, it's bound to work.
Overall this trailer was a pleasant surprise, as I wasn't expecting much from it, but after watching the trailer I quite hopeful about the movie now. Do watch the trailer and feel free to give your views. Cheers!
