This is a much awaited show specially for the Star Wars fans. Ewan McGregor returns as Obi-Wan Kenobi. This was a huge build up as the Star Wars prequel trilogy gained popularity as the time passed. The show starts right when the order 66 was executed in the Star Wars. But right after that the show takes its time to build characters and setting up the story. There is not much action in the first episode and it's pretty much similar in the second episode is well.
The show actually focuses more on characters than action and the story is mainly focused on the struggles of Obi-Wan who is living under the name of Ben. The performances are fantastic in the show. Mainly Ewan McGregor, he is the soul of the show. He has delivered a top notch performance as this is his show. All other characters are good too. The actor playing as the young princess Leia is phenomenal, her chemistry with Ewan is a treat to watch. Whatever action there is in the show is pretty good. Not many grand action sequences thus far but pretty good nonetheless.
Somehow this show has managed to capture the right vibe for the Star Wars show. This is nothing like The Mandalorian. The makers have chosen a completely different path on this one. It's working so far. The reveal of Darth Vader was also excellent. It hits you in the right place. So far so good. Let's see what we have in store for us.
